General Description : A view taken during the Burrator Dam excavations near completion. Showing a large group of workmen holding shovels, hammers & pickaxes standing in front of a rock face with two steam cranes on top of the excavations. The foreman can be seen standing with his hand on the foundation stone to the back-left of the group of workmen.
