General Description : A photograph showing a view of two sailors making adjustments to a torpedo tube onboard a destroyer or torpedo boat whilst another sailor can be seen laying on the deck to fit the firing pistol into the torpedoes warhead. Labelled as ‘Placing in the Pistol’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Firing of a Live Torpedo for Practice’.
