General Description : A photograph showing a view of the ballroom setup onboard HMS DEFIANCE, there is a sectioned naval mine on the table in the corner and two torpedoes suspended from the deckhead. Labelled as ‘The Ballroom. Corner shews [sic] the Mine – This room is 3 lecture rooms cut into one – N.B:- The old & new type of torpedo’ and is in a series of images titled ‘”DEFIANCE”, Libertymen, Ballroom & “CLEOPATRA”’.
