General Description : A photograph showing a view of a large launch full of sailors from HMS DEFIANCE leaving the ship to go ashore for leave, there are two sailors operating the motor mounted on the boats bow. Labelled as ‘Liberty-men leaving the ship in the motor-boat to catch the motor-train’ and is in a series of images titled ‘”DEFIANCE”, Libertymen, Ballroom & “CLEOPATRA”’.
