General Description : A photograph showing a view of fifteen (15) Royal Navy sailors in a ships boat, probably from the Apollo class cruiser HMS TRIBUNE (1891), the stern of the Pelorus class cruiser HMS PROSERPINE (1896) can be seen in the background. Labelled as ‘Boat racing. A centipede for all comers’ and is in a series of images titled ‘Scenes of Ship Life in the Royal Navy’.
