General Description : A photograph showing a view of the pinnace from the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) sailing away from the ship, there is another pinnace in the background, in front of a battleship and a Devonshire class armoured cruiser. Labelled as ‘Boat Sailing Pinnace leaving the ship’ and is in a series of images titled ‘Scenes of Ship Life in the Royal Navy’.
