General Description : A photograph showing a long queue of men and women passing the Castles Shipbreaking Yard at No. 160 Upper Grosvenor Road, there are three figureheads (HMS ORION (1854 - 1867), HMS PRINCESS ROYAL (1853 - 1872) and HMS CRESSY (1853 - 1867)) and a section of stern carving (HMS PRINCE CONSORT 91862 - 1882)) mounted on the wall in the background. Labelled as ‘The queue passing a ship breaking yard on the way to the Lad’ and is in a series of images titled as ‘Lying-in-state of H.M. King Edward VII’.
