General Description : A photograph showing a view of three Royal Navy sailors onboard the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, the man in the centre is John Henry Palmer, the author of the album. Labelled as ‘Admiral’s Bodyguard & Captn Adair’s Scout’s’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
