General Description : A photograph showing a distant view from a ship sailing away from Lundy Island of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off the island after the salvage operation had been abandoned. Labelled as ‘The last I saw of the "Monty"’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
