General Description : A photograph showing a view from the bridge looking forward of Royal Navy sailors preparing a large derrick on the forecastle of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there are a number of stationary and vertical boilers waiting to be removed. Labelled as ‘Boilers ready for hoisting out’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
