General Description : A photograph showing a view from off the port side of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking toward the ship before the removal of her funnels, the chimneys of numerous stationary boilers can be seen onboard the ship. Labelled as ‘Nearing the end’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
