General Description : A photograph showing a view from the wreck of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking forward toward the waves breaking on the rocky coast. Labelled as ‘Breakers ahead, note the wire for breeches buoy’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
