General Description : A photograph showing a view from the port bridge wing looking forward of a piece of salvage equipment being hoisted off the forecastle of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island. Labelled as ‘Hoisting out the foremost air engine & boiler’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
