General Description : A photograph showing a view from the port bridge wing looking forward of a salvage pontoon (called a camel) being released from the bows of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, three more camels are still in place in front of the one that as just been let go. Labelled as ‘Letting the camels loose’ and is in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
