General Description : A photograph showing a view from the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking down on a lighter secured to the starboard side of the ship, there is a group of Royal Navy sailors onboard, some are eating food and some are sleeping. Labelled as ‘Dinner time - alongside the ship’ and is No. 83 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
