General Description : A photograph showing a view from the aft superstructure of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking over the quarterdeck during a hail storm, there are waves breaking against the aft gun turret on the left. Labelled as ‘Hail & wind’ and is No. 82 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
