General Description : A photograph showing a view from the bridge of a group of Royal Navy sailors hoisting out salvage equipment off the amidships section of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking aft long the port side. Labelled as ‘Hoisting out machinery’ and is No. 81 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
