General Description : A photograph showing a view looking aft from the bows of a group of Royal Navy sailors lowering a torpedo down a hatch on the forecastle of the Majestic class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MARS (1896), there is a group of civilians watching on the left and the ships bridge can be seen in the background. Labelled as ‘Firing Tod [sic] "H.M.S. Mars"’ and is No. 74 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
