General Description : A photograph showing a view of two men trying to help a diver floating on his back astern of a launch after inspecting the underneath of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there are two more battleships visible in the background along with two large steamships and a smaller vessel. Labelled as ‘Diver blown up - an accident fortunately was not hurt’ and is No. 72a in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
