General Description : A photograph showing a view of a diver reporting to the group of sailors onboard a launch after inspecting the underneath of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there are two more battleships visible in the background along with another large steamship and two smaller vessels. Labelled as ‘Diver reporting state of bottom’ and is No. 71a in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
