General Description : A photograph showing a view of a group of sailors splicing and preparing lengths of cable onboard the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there is a second battleship visible in the background. Labelled as ‘Riggers fitting spans for camels’ and is No. 70 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
