General Description : A photograph showing a view from the bridge of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking along the starboard bow of the ship as a group of men work to release one of the salvage pontoons (called a camel) secured to the bows. Labelled as Struggling to quieten a refractory camel and is No. 69 in a series of images titled The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
