General Description : A photograph showing a view from the bridge of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking toward the rocks off the starboard bow of the ship as a group of men work on top the salvage pontoons (called a camel) in the foreground. Labelled as ‘At work on the camels’ and is No. 68 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
