General Description : A photograph showing a view from the bridge of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking toward the rocks off the starboard bow of the ship as a group of men work on top a salvage pontoon (called a camel) in the foreground. Labelled as ‘Low water – shewing a lost camel [marked in the album with a cross & arrow]’ and is No. 67 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
