General Description : A photograph showing a view from the aft superstructure of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking forward along the port side of the ship as a large wave breaks inboard amidships. Labelled as ‘Heavy seas. Port side of ship’ and is No. 60 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
