General Description : A photograph showing a view from the aft superstructure of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking aft at the sea washing over the quarterdeck at high tide, the aft gun turret can be seen on the right. Labelled as ‘"Montagu foam"’ and is No. 53 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
