General Description : A photograph showing a view from the flooded quarterdeck of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking aft passed the gun turret and salvage equipment toward a steam launch approaching the port side of the ship. Labelled as ‘Calm sea - high tide’ and is No. 50 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
