General Description : A photograph showing a view from the flooded quarterdeck of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking aft passed the gun turret and salvage equipment toward a large lighter carrying two salvage pontoons (called camels), there is a steam launch secured alongside the lighter. Labelled as "The camels are coming" Two camels in a lighter passing the stern and is No. 49 in a series of images titled The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
