General Description : A photograph showing a view from the aft superstructure of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking aft over the gun turret and quarterdeck, the sea is breaking over the salvage equipment setup on the stern. Labelled as ‘"Swells amongst the boilers"’ and is No. 48 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
