General Description : A photograph showing a view from the aft superstructure of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island looking aft over the gun turret and quarterdeck toward a steam launch that can be seen crossing behind the ship, the sea is breaking over the salvage equipment setup on the stern. Labelled as ‘Ordinary tide - high water’ and is No. 47 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
