General Description : A photograph showing a view of the salvage equipment setup amidships onboard the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there is a large number of men working on the salvage equipment in the foreground and an equally large number of men can be seen standing on the forward superstructure in the background. Labelled as ‘General view, shewing oil drums etc’ and is No. 41 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
