General Description : A photograph showing a view of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island after the removal of the funnels looking down from the cliff tops, there are waves breaking over the ship. Labelled as ‘Ship during a gale’ and is No. 39 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
