General Description : A photograph showing a view of a group of Royal Navy sailors coming over the salvage pontoons on the starboard side of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island to start work in the morning. Labelled as ‘Climbing over the Camels to go to work - early morn’ and is No. 37a in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
