General Description : A photograph showing a view of a Royal Navy Captain and his Chief Engineer talking beside a piece of salvage equipment setup amidships onboard the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there is a Midshipman examining the equipment in the foreground. Labelled as Captain & Engineer Commandr [sic] holding a consultt [sic] by an air engine and is No. 36 in a series of images titled The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
