General Description : A photograph showing a view of the funnels being dismantled amidships onboard the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there men working to remove sections of the funnel in the foreground and a number of pieces of salvage equipment can be seen in the background. Labelled as ‘Removal of the funnels’ and is No. 33 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
