General Description : A photograph showing a view from the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island of a large launch loaded with Royal Navy sailors approaching the ship. Labelled as ‘Launch - method of transport of men from one ship to another - This launch & another large boat was last during a gale’ and is No. 22 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
