General Description : A photograph showing a view from off the port side of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island after the removal of ships funnels, there are a number of stationary boilers visible amidships. Labelled as ‘Morn of the trial’ and is No. 21 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
