General Description : A photograph showing a view from astern of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, the sea can be seen washing over the ships quarterdeck at high tide. Labelled as ‘High tide - with heavy sea running’ and is No. 20a in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
