General Description : A photograph showing a view from astern of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island as the sunsets, there is a wave breaking on the port side of the ship as the tide raises. Labelled as ‘Settling down’ and is No. 16 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
