General Description : A photograph showing a view from off the port bow of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground off Lundy Island, there are a number of vertical boilers positioned around and on top of the forward turret and the sea can be seen breaking over the ships deck. Labelled as ‘Port bow - shewing boilers on forecastle’ and is No. 13 in a series of images titled ‘The Loss of H.M.S. "MONTAGU". May 30th 1906'.
