General Description : A photograph showing a view from astern of the Duncan class pre-dreadnought battleship HMS MONTAGU (1901) aground on Lundy during the salvage operation, there are a number of men sitting by the salvage equipment mounted on the quarterdeck, the island can be seen in the background. Labelled as 'Dockyardsmen [sic] having their dinner on the Quarterdeck' and is No. 7 in a series of images titled ‘The Lost of H.M.S. "MONTAGU" May 30th 1906’.
